IP Location
Look up the approximate location of an IP.
IP geolocation estimates where an address is used by combining registry records, routing data and commercial databases. Country is usually right, city often is not, and it never yields a street address.

How IP Location works
What it does
Look up the approximate location of an IP.
What you get
Approximate geographic and network information, not a street address.
Live data sources
The target is sent to a network provider. Results include their source; timeouts and unavailable data are clearly marked.
What if a check cannot finish?
Confirm your input and try again. A timeout, blocked request, or unavailable provider is not proof that a domain is broken. Internet measurements and third-party services have limits.
IP Location — frequently asked questions
How accurate is IP geolocation?
Country level is reliable, around 95–99%. City level is far weaker — frequently the provider's registered office or a regional hub rather than the actual user.
Why does it show the wrong city?
Providers assign addresses from centrally registered pools. Mobile networks especially route large regions through a few gateways, so everyone appears in one place.
Can I find someone's exact address from their IP?
No. That link exists only in your provider's subscriber records and is not public. Any service claiming street-level accuracy from an IP alone is overstating what is possible.
